Q) How do we book you?
A) To check my availability simply either send me a text message or an email and I will get back to you as soon as possible.  For weddings and large commercial projects we offer a no-obligations consultation, usually over tea or coffee.  If you decide to book I’ll email you an agreement / booking form and once you have paid the £200 deposit to secure your date.  Your wedding date is not secure until I have received your booking form AND deposit.

Q) Are you insured?
A) Most definitely, we have both public liability and professional indemnity insurance.

Q) Can we get involved in the planning and ideas for shot locations?
A) Yes, most definitely, we are happy to take the lead or spend time beforehand going over preferred locations for photos.

Q) When will I get to see the photos?
A) I do my best to get all weddings creatively edited and the online gallery live within four weeks.  However, during my busiest months in June to August it can take up to six weeks to get a wedding fully processed.


Q) What if it rains?
A) Its popular belief that rain on your wedding day is a good sign of your future together but appreciate it can mean changes to the agreed photography schedule.  In the event of forecasted rain AES Photography will make preparations with the couple and offer alternative ideas for shooting indoors.  Rainy weather also makes for some truly wonderful photos, so bring your brolly and smile and we’ll do the rest.

Q) The church doesn’t allow flash photography, is this a problem?
A) Not at all, we shoot with the highest specification cameras and lens that do not require flash in low light situations. We also always speak to the vicar or priest before the ceremony to make sure we know any ground rules.

Q) I’m camera shy!
A) After we’ve met a few times, planned the day, I will do my best to help you relax on the day and enjoy the experience of being photographed.

Q) Do you offer videography services?
A) I don’t offer videography as my focus is 100% on capturing candid photos throughout the whole day.  However, I work closely with a local videographer that I’m happy to recommend as I have work with them on many occasions.

Q) Do you travel for weddings?
A) I love travelling and visiting new place.  I’m willing to go anywhere in the UK or abroad to capture your wedding.


Q) What is lifestyle photography?
A) Lifestyle photography portrays real-life situations in controlled setting, usually outdoors and using natural light.  People (especially children) generally relax more when they are in a comfortable environments rather than a studio surrounded by bright lights.  This helps capture special moments when 

Q) What does lifestyle photography cover?
A) I shoot portraits of pretty much anyone, from couples, families, babies, maternity to your pets.

Q) Where can the lifestyle shoot take place?
A) Every lifestyle shoot will take place at a location of your choice (I offer free travel within 40 miles of S25).


Q) What type of Commercial photography services do you offer?
A) We provide creative and modern photography for a range of services including:

  • Architectural – showcase your design and build projects in the best possible light
  • Editorial, Advertising and PR Photography – magazine worthy photos to make a statement
  • Corporate and Public Events – we love covering corporate events, from business awards to school proms.
  • Business Diginataries and Head Shots – We use our mobile studio to set up at your offices, you just turn up and smile.
  • Food Photography – we regularly shoot creative food photography for local hotels and restaurants
  • Product Photography – we’ll create the images that will help you sell your products.
  • Golf Course Photography – Being a avid golfer I know the rules of golf course photography!!

Q) Who are your clients?
A) My commercial photography services cover a number of projects and assignments for a broad range of clients and businesses in Yorkshire and across the UK.  Recent clients include Heineken UK, New Build Solutions, ROC Developments, Yellow Bus Events Ltd, Friction Marketing Company (FMC), Social Sheffield Magazine, New Channels, Hotel Van Dyk, Bondhay Golf Club, Whirlow Hall Farm Trust, to name but a few.

Q) Do you offer different styles to reflect our business needs?
A) Yes, for every shoot I get to know the client and understand the brief, then reflect that knowledge in my work.  This ensures that we provide high quality images that effectively match your business, location, brand or product identity.

Q) Why don’t you offer set prices for commercial work?
A) Generally commercial projects are based on an hourly rate and difficulty of works.  All commercial projects are different so please outline your requirements in the form below and we’ll get back to you with a quotation.
