Being an guest and a photographer can be challenging, mainly because everyone is drinking more than you, but in this case it was a privilege and honour to spend time with this wonderful couple. It was a brilliant day from start to finish with lots (and lots) of laughs.

As for Donington Park Farm House, wow, what a place. I had scouted the venue previously so I had a good idea of spots, but you are really spoilt for choice with lovely converted barns, woodlands, fields and even a few mad cows (that isn’t reference to my wife I promise).

The bridal preparations took place in one of the converted outbuildings across the yard. It was a very relaxed morning, with a very calm bride. Actually think she was the calmest out of us all!!! 🙂

The rest of the day went in a flash with guests all having a brilliant time, particularly the lads, who had fun launching the groom into the air before attempting the same with the Brides car. Rachael had decorated most of the venue herself and it looked amazing, with great attention to detail. After the formals we had a nice walk around the grounds and fields opposite, and got some beautiful photos of this amazing couple.
