HOTEL VAN DYK WEDDING | DIANE & KEITH

Ceremony and Reception: Hotel Van Dyk, Derbyshire

I have known Diane and Keith for a long time and I was delighted when Keith asked me to be their photographer as the day was always going to be a wonderful occasion with great people.

When I arrived at the hotel I met the Groom and groomsmen for a few quick photos in the bar area and library. I was impressed with how well Keith had scrubbed up…only joking Keith. The lads looked very smart and were relatively relaxed.

I made my way back to the beautiful bridal suite at Hotel Van Dyk, where the Bride to be was waiting patiently and taking in the occasion. After a few portraits we rounded up the stunning bridesmaids and waited for the registrar to arrive. This is the moment when emotions start to flare and the butterflies start.

The ceremony was in the ballroom, and it was a lovely occasion with many happy tears and lots of laughter. After exchanging vows the happy couple walked out down the aisle singing and dancing. You would expect nothing less from Keith and it was a wonderful moment.

After the formal and couple photos in the grounds I blended into the background to capture the action unfold. The highlights being the speeches that can only be described as clever, honest, and heartfelt tributes to these two amazing people.

It was a great day from start to finish, complimented by a wonderful venue, great staff, wonderful guests and the amazing singer Ben who had everyone on their feet, especially Keith with some killer dancing moves!! Here are a few photos from this wonderful day…
