RINGWOOD HALL PAVILION WEDDING | CHARLOTTE & JAMES

Ceremony and Reception: Ringwood Hall Hotel, Derbyshire

This was my first time shooting a wedding in the gardens at Ringwood Hall Hotel. Even though there was two other weddings on the day, we didn’t come across any of the other guests. It is a great wedding venue and we had the most glorious day without a cloud in the sky, hence most of the photos were taken in the shade of the stunning grounds.

Charlotte and James are both lovely relaxed people and when I first met them I knew it was going to be a great day. When I arrived at the Brides parents everyone seemed relaxed and the usual preps were well underway. James had sent Charlotte a lovely note with flowers, champagne and perfume, I guess this is why his friends call him Smoothy. The family made me feel very welcome and this carried on throughout the day. Here’s a few from the morning…

The ceremony took place in the beautiful garden pavilion and it was stunning. You could tell from the way James and Charlotte looked at each other during the vows they are just happy and very much in love.

The wedding breakfast was hosted in the well presented marquee in the grounds, which has its own private area around the corner and secret garden. We headed off for the woods with the happy couple (James and his bestman Tobias). When I broke them up Tobias did a great job assisting whilst we got some beautiful photos of the bride and groom.

The speeches were great, straight from the heart, with plenty of laughs!! I made some good friends throughout the day, a great bunch of people and had to drag myself away from the party!!
