THE OLD VICARAGE BOUTIQUE WEDDING | RACHAEL & BEN

Date: 10th November 2016
Ceremony and Reception: The Old Vicarage Boutique Wedding and Events Venue, Southwell, Nottinghamshire

The Old Vicarage Boutique wedding venue is a hidden gem that offers exceptional food and impeccable exclusive service from the amazing staff.  The rooms are decorated to very high standards and well presented throughout.  It was obvious why Rachael and Ben had chosen this place, the perfect boutique wedding venue.

I hadn’t visited the venue prior to the wedding, so I arrived early to have a look around the grounds and get some location ideas.  One place that intrigued me was the old shed hidden away in the corner of the garden.  I think Rachel and Ben were wondering where the hell I was taking them down this dark gloomy patch, but as soon as they saw the photos they understood.

The morning was very relaxed and the bridesmaids where all in jovial moods.  Before bridal preps commenced I got some photos of the main room all set up for the ceremony.  The ceremony was lovely with the two page boys almost stealing centre stage, until the beautiful bride showed up.  She looked stunning and it was an emotional moment, especially for Ben, as she walked down the isle.  To be honest there wasn’t many dry eyes throughout the ceremony, the ambience of the venue facilitating a wonderful ceremony.

I had a good laugh with Ben and his mates, especially when one of them decided to get out the hosepipe (not a euphemism) and spray the whole gang.  I didn’t stay around for the whole evening but it was a great day with wonderful people, with lots of fun moments.

Congrats to the happy couple and thanks again for asking me to be your photographer.  Here are a few of my faves from the day…
